Meriman and Mary had 11 children, including two children who died at birth.

Emma Demeris b. 10 June 1888 in TX and was a school teacher. She married Will N. Lunn.
Ira Emelia b. 27 August 1889 in TX. She married George A. Barnett.
Leicester Demoin "L.D." b. 4 May 1891 in TX. He died 19 June 1974. He married Sudie Hunt.
Edward Conway "E.C." b. 17 February 1893 in TX. His wife's name was Loula Barnett. He was an undertaker and died of blood poisoning as a resutl of embalming at the age of 30. His date of death was 3 June 1923
Elzy Eugene b. 8 November 1894 in TX. He was married to Daisy Glaze and died 6 January 1961.
Sarah Mohalia b 25 November 1897 in TX. She was married to Robert L. Taylor and died 26 September 1968
Mary "Nora" b. 3 December 1898 in TX. Distaught over some failed wedding plans, she took her own life on 9 August 1918
Walter Thurman b. 1 August 1905 in TX. He was a policeman, and newly married. He thought his wife, Juanita Webb was being unfaithful and shot and killed her, then took his on life on 7 December 1929.
Arlyse Violet Vida b. 25 January 1907 in Hill, TX. She married Barney Edgar Wilson in 1925. She died 29 September 1979 in San Angelo, Tom Green County, TX and was buried 1 October 1979.
